Curb Appeal
Start with the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your house from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What dollar-earning characteristics seem hidden? Knowing this assists us in determining what actions we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't attractive on the outside with refreshed paint and colorful greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers picture themselves lounging in your living area, relaxing in your spa tub or inviting family and friends over for a dinner in your dining room? We want your home to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of contentment. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting small improvements that highlight the features of your place. I'll tell you put out of sight pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be neatly arranged. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and play time works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "neutralize" the house so buyers can see it as their new home.
I'll look over every room of your home. Improvements that directly impact your sale price include fixable like furniture pieces that should be rearranged, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Potential buyers want a home that brings them inside. Decor that could be unsightly should be removed in order for your house to impress buyers while on the market.

Setting the Stage You'll know when it's time to show your home, because all of the improvements mesh together to paint a picture of what buyers can expect after they close on your house. To counteract darkness is critical and we'll draw back curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and make sure a pleasing aroma flows throughout your house. We'll include cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your couch and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current house has the potential to be. |
